Job Summary:

We are looking for a WordPress developer that is required for a fast growing Digital Marketing Agency. You will be part of a busy digital marketing team and work with a team of graphic designers and content writers. You will take the lead on maintaining all our WordPress Websites and content to improve upon its UX/UI. This role is for someone who knows all the ins and outs of a WordPress environment, working with themes and has extensive knowledge of WP plugins.

1. This is a full-time work at office role requiring a minimum one-year commitment which would encompass a developer based compensation and a commitment of a minimum of 6 months.
2. Coding up mocks that will be prepared by the designer from Invision, Figma or Zeplin into a WordPress page or post with a high level of accuracy.
3. Skill or Tertiary Qualification in IT or Computer Science, what we look at is your efficiency and dedication on bringing the right output in a given time.
4. A minimum of 1 years experience in developing WordPress and WooCommerce websites.
5. Knowledge of GIT repository
6. Ability to pace up coding to meet busy campaign times.
7. Extensive knowledge of mobile optimization.
8. Editing on Premium Templates from various Template factories.
9. Slicing out web elements if required from high resolution images and pdfs.
10. Make theme level changes in PHP to customize the theme as per requirements of the client.
11. Participating and supporting the overall direction of the digital marketing team.
12. Maintain a clean codebase and our repository of live and staging environments.
13. Work with the wider technology team to align releases and branch merges.
14. Be conscious of the technical SEO efforts within the team and keep site structure and other SEO optimized alongside our SEO function.
15. Adhere to Agile development methodology.
16. To be able to do device optimization of the design specially for mobile and tablets; Be able to code HTML, CSS, and Javascript for custom pages etc.
17. Comfortably using visual page builders like Oxygen, Divi, Elementor or WPBakery etc.
18. Be able to test and debug your own code and other forms and UI elements & Provide inputs/insights for user experience design and improvement.
19. Any other task related to Research, WordPress, SEO and Digital Marketing can be enforced on you with the guidance of other team members.
